The Project Longevity New Haven team in partnership with ConnCAT hosted community members and law enforcement for a dialogue and relationship building. The goal was to address racial reconciliation by bringing our community together to dive deep into a conversation about sensitive issues concerning communities and law enforcement. We assembled culinary teams comprised of law enforcement professionals and community members. The teams learned a recipe together, depended on each other, and baked a few delicious batches of cookies. The community enjoyed a product formed literally out of community and law enforcement partnerships while taking part in a dialogue about law enforcement and community partnerships.
Special thanks to all who participated and engaged in conversation! Special thans to the ConnCAT Culinary Arts program and their team, NHPD, US Attorney's Office and the New Haven community.
