The Project Longevity Hartford team works diligently to support men and women who are seeking a better life with finding employment. Many of these individuals have been involved in the criminal justice system and have many strikes against them. Strong community support helps to increase their chances at finding a job. Not only must our clients exhibit an attitude that shows that they are ready, willing and able to work they must look the part and be able to present themselves in a professionally appropriate manner when contacted for interviews. The suit drive initiative lead by, Hartford Program Manager Shawn St. John, Social Services Coordinator Rio Comaduran, and Sgt. Steven Austin (HPD) in partnership with the Hartford Guardians received dozens of donated suits, dress shirts, ties and other garments.
